Silence, Space, and Solitude

This undulating landscape of hills, cliffs and ravines is in a remote part of southeastern Oregon.  It is vast and rugged, and standing amidst such seemingly infinite terrain makes one feel wondrously small and alone.  If the earth has a heartbeat, one could surely hear it here.
