What the Ocean Knows

These cliffs were beautiful in the mid afternoon hazy air that is so typical of ocean beaches.  Looking at them made me wonder how long they have been there, eroding with each passing century, the ocean and time slowly nibbling away at them to reveal a look at a tiny bit of the earth's history.
