"Furyus"

The title for this painting comes from the license plate on the car.  With its cracked windshield, fading paint job, and flat tire, it was obvious that its glory days were behind it, never to be resurrected again.  To add insult to injury, it had been left to rust in the gravel yard of an old motel in New Mexico.  The aggressive styling of the car along with its current state of affairs, and the skid marks in the gravel lot, seemed to underscore the theme of "Furyus".
