Freight Car Geometry

Freight trains have always held a fascination for me.  They seem such a throwback to another day and age, when things moved just a bit more slowly, and their bulky steel shapes are both primitive and powerful.  This car offered an interesting study in geometric shapes made by the car's openings, the shadows cast by its ribcage, and the securing ties crisscrossing from the verticals to the horizontals.
