Gas Pumps

I have come across a number of old fashioned gas pumps in my travels around the West, and have always been attracted to both their various shapes and they way they have weathered.   I chose to paint them in as a contemporary still life in order to let their individual uniqueness standout.  The display windows of the pumps, with only a few slots to show the price per gallon and the cost of a fill up,  are a reminder of how things have changed.
