Remains of the Day

I found this chair rusting away in the back of a collectibles store in an Oregon farming town.  Its structure was slightly askew from many years of either use or neglect, and it had a beautiful patina about it.  When I placed it on a warehouse dock in the late afternoon sun, the iconic shape of the chair and its cast shadow totally captivated me.
