The Arcade Hotel

I was driving down the main street of an old Oregon farming/ranching town late one afternoon.  As in much of rural America, this one was struggling a bit to keep the original heart of the town viable.   This hotel had seen some good years when the town was younger, but was now abandoned.  It was missing tile in the front, and fabric had been carelessly hung in the street-level windows to discourage snooping.  The low sun cast strong shadows from the marquee overhang, emphasizing the dark, empty interior.
