Old Timers

I loved both the patina of age and the homey familiarity of these chairs.  They had obviously seen many years but their form was still in tact, although a bit worse for the wear. The chairs shared the same basic shape, but each had it own quirks and subtle variations.  I was also drawn to their beautifully efficient and iconic form, and their relationship to the shadows that they cast in the late afternoon sun.  One could imagine the occupants of these chairs sharing stories, insights, and friendship over the years.
