There were a number of sidelined freight cars in a small town in British Columbia. I marveled at the graffiti scrawled on the sides of them, and how beautiful and creative some of it was. As I pondered it, I also became aware of what creative genius it was to come up with the idea of a freight train, and how beautiful it is, from the power of the steam engine that pulls it to the symmetry of the wheels that let it roll down the track. The numbers and letters on the side of the car were yet another form of creation. And as this car sat in the field, the grass waved in the breeze and the black birds flitted about, creations from something other than the mind and hand of man.
