Lark

I noticed this old Studebaker parked in a driveway in the town of Pt. Reyes Station, CA.  It had obviously been there some time, as the weeds were growing up around it.  It was a beautiful teal color and the sun was hitting the top surfaces, even as the old siding of the building behind it was in deep shadow.  The contrast between light and dark, warm and cool invited a painting.  This one is 18" x 24", but I liked it so much that I did a larger one of 30" x 40".
