Presence

I will confess to not usually being interested in painting flowers.  However, I had to make an exception for this sunflower.  It was a volunteer in my next door neighbor's garden, and was probably nine feet tall at this point.  It had strength, beauty, and such presence.  Its nodding, golden head with the sunlight behind it could not be ignored.
